In Piano Planet, you’ll have a digital practice coach that first asks you what’s important to you, comes up with a plan, and then creates the daily and weekly goals for you to hit in order for you to get to where you want to go. You’ll be able to see yourself progress by seeing improvements in your skills, such as sight reading, ear training, notes played per second, and average accuracy. Using this data, your coach can help you be more efficient in targeting the most critical things for your learning growth in piano.

Currently, the average cost for lessons in the US is $50 USD per lesson. That’s basically a $200 per month subscription. An average year will have around 40 lessons, for a cost of $2,000 per year for piano lessons.

By using technology combined with requirements from experienced teachers, we can cut learning costs down at least 12x less than what they cost today. We can deliver lessons, trainers, songs, resource library, a practice coach, and a community for a price of only $12 a month.

Over a year, that’s like paying $150 instead of $2,000 for a regular teacher.

Scholarships for those who can’t afford it.

We know even at a reduced cost, there is still poverty in the world, and some people will be in a situation where they can’t pay. For each person that pays for Piano Planet, we’ll have the ability to give someone else the opportunity to learn for free. This works through our scholarship program, where a person with the passion to learn, but not the ability to pay, can apply for 1 year free access, so they aren’t blocked by money from pursuing piano.
